WHO IS SHE

I’m Maria Prous, a Barcelona-based audiovisual designer with a passion for transforming ideas into visual stories.
My work lives at the intersection of motion and stillness, order and chaos, digital precision and analog experimentation.

What excites me most is developing narratives and concepts finding that initial spark of an idea and shaping it into a piece that resonates, whether it’s a photo, a video, a visual identity, or an immersive installation. I’m fascinated by the way visuals can connect with people, trigger emotions, and create meaning.

Beyond design, I have a strong passion for fashion, not only as an aesthetic reference but also as a cultural language that shapes the way I think about textures, forms, and visual identity. Equally, cinema plays a key role in my creative practice. Its ability to build universes and blur the line between reality and imagination constantly fuels my work. These influences allow me to experiment, mix disciplines, and expand the visual language I use in each project.

Spending a year living abroad broadened my horizons, both personally and creatively. It taught me to embrace curiosity, experiment with different perspectives, and keep exploring the unknown.
